Meet Jayanta Tarafder. He was the team leader in Bengal part of the survey experiments. And he’s damn good at what he does. Responsible, smart, thinking-on-the-feet, with an impressive knowledge of what it needs to get the work done on the field. Which probably comes from his long experience with survey work in West Bengal. A funny, helpful fellow who’s a joy to work with. I urge my academic colleagues planning to do survey or natural experiments in Bengal to go with Jayanta. Hire him. He’s your man! (And yes, he just got married! Indeed he’s under new management. As the kids say, ironic t-shirt game is on point.)
Please send me a message for Jayanta’s contact details.
